Authority Files of Patent Documents published by the Intellectual Property Office of Ireland (IPOI)

Attached are links to the authority files of patent documents published by the IPOI since 1989.

The main purpose of the authority file of published patent documents is to provide a definitive list of all patent documents issued by the IPOI.  It will also allow all interested parties to assess the completeness of their collections of publications. The files contain information on both pre-grant publications and granted publications for the two types of patents available in Ireland [Short term — 10-year patent and Full term — 20-year patent]. The files are in XML format and are mainly consistent with WIPO Standard ST.37 (version 2.2) and are structured according to the "ST.37AuthorityFile_V2-2.dtd". 

Please note that the IPOI revised the KIND CODES used in the publication of its patent documents to conform with WIPO Standard ST.16  [ST.16 - Recommended standard code for the identification of different kinds of patent documents]. The revised codes took effect on 25/12/2019. (A notice to this effect was published in Journal 2400 on 11/12/2019.)
